Adi completed her B.Sc. in chemistry with expertise in material science at Bar Ilan University. She then did her M.Sc. at Prof. Arie Zaban's lab, Bar Ilan University. Her research topic focused on the “Stability and Interfaces in Organic Inorganic Hybrid Perovskite Thin Film Solar Cells.”. She undertook her Ph.D. in the chemistry department, institute of nanotechnology and advanced materials, at Bar Ilan University under the supervision of Prof. David Cahen, focusing on combinatorial material science for thin-film oxides and Pb- free halide perovskite photovoltaic applications.

Adi is an expert in various of ultra-high vacuum solid state materials syntheses such as pulsed laser deposition (PLD), radiofrequency (RF) sputtering, and thermal evaporation together with wet chemistry in glove boxes for inert environments. She has also worked with characterization methods such as imaging and elemental analysis (EDS, SEM, HR-SEM) together with focused ion beam (FIB), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Kelvin probe (contact potential difference, surface photovoltage spectroscopy).
