Shany completed her B.Sc. with a double major in Materials Engineering and Chemistry from Tel Aviv University.

For the past four years, she worked at H2PRO in the hydrogen industry, driven by a strong belief in its environmental contributions and potential to make a positive impact on the world.

Her passion for advancing sustainable technologies led her to pursue an M.Sc., where her research focuses on oxygen vacancies in metal oxide electrocatalysts for selective CO2 reduction to CH4.

She is particularly interested in investigating the activity and selectivity of this mechanism to optimize its performance and applicability.

In her free time, Shany enjoys studying Jewish philosophy and Halaca.
